Two Things to Believe
I write this on the outskirts of the major snow event many encountered this past weekend.
I looked forward to the 1-3 inches of fluff at home in metro Atlanta and received a light dust likened to not enough powdered sugar on a stack of pancakes.
Duped again by a meteorologist forecast.
Thing number one: believe what you know is true. Trust no weather prediction.
Here is some good news. Thing number two.
Final Jeopardy, A Jake Sledge Mystery, written by friend and fellow author, B. D. Lawrence, now on presale at Amazon. Release date: February 15, 2026.
“A fedora-wearing PI. A twisted family legacy. A client who might be more dangerous than the killer.
“Jake “The Hammer” Sledge traded his NFL career for a private investigator’s license, but he never expected his past to come back with a vengeance. When Jeopardy Dupree walks into his River City office, Jake knows he’s in for trouble. She’s the woman whose dangerous alter ego once tried to kill him, and now she wants him to prove her schizophrenic brother Barker didn’t murder Sandy Akins, the nurse’s aide he planned to marry.”
I started reading this gripping story last evening and kept turning pages.
I think you will enjoy Final Jeopardy and invite you to have a look.
Author B. D. Lawrence deserves this spotlight. He is a good person and a great storyteller.
For you who are stuck in your homes because of the snow, I wish you the best.
Steve
